2. Non-Emergency Transportation Services
Assured Safety Transportation LLC provides NON-EMERGENCY transportation services only.
We are NOT:
- An ambulance service
- An emergency medical provider
- A healthcare provider
- A substitute for emergency medical care
In the event of a medical emergency, clients must call 911 immediately.
3. Eligibility for Services
Clients using our services must:
- Provide accurate scheduling information
- Be medically stable for non-emergency transport
- Notify us of any mobility or assistance needs
- Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations
- Ensure a responsible adult is available when required
Assured Safety Transportation LLC reserves the right to refuse service when transportation conditions are unsafe, inappropriate, unlawful, or outside the scope of our services.
4. Scheduling and Reservations
Transportation appointments should be scheduled in advance whenever possible.
Clients are responsible for providing:
- Correct appointment times
- Accurate addresses
- Contact information
- Special transportation instructions
While we strive to maintain punctuality, arrival and transport times may be affected by:
- Traffic conditions
- Weather conditions
- Road closures
- Medical facility delays
- Unexpected operational circumstances
Estimated pickup and arrival times are not guaranteed.
5. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Clients are expected to provide reasonable notice for cancellations.
A cancellation may be considered a "No-Show" if:
- The rider is unavailable at the scheduled pickup time
- The rider refuses transportation upon arrival
- We are unable to contact the rider after reasonable attempts
- The rider fails to appear within the designated waiting period
Repeated no-shows or excessive cancellations may result in service restrictions or refusal of future service.
6. Rider Responsibilities
For the safety of all passengers and staff, riders agree to:
- Treat drivers respectfully
- Wear seatbelts when applicable
- Follow driver safety instructions
- Maintain appropriate behavior during transportation
- Avoid disruptive, abusive, threatening, or unsafe conduct
- Avoid smoking, vaping, alcohol use, or illegal substances in vehicles
Assured Safety Transportation LLC reserves the right to terminate a trip if rider behavior creates safety risks or violates company policies.
7. Driver Assistance Limitations
Our drivers may provide limited ambulatory assistance consistent with PASS training and company policy.
Drivers are NOT permitted to:
- Administer medications
- Provide medical treatment
- Perform medical procedures
- Physically lift clients beyond safe limitations
- Provide emergency medical care
Clients requiring advanced medical supervision or emergency transport should use appropriate medical transportation services.
8. Payment and Billing
Clients agree to pay all applicable transportation charges not covered by insurance, Medicaid, brokers, healthcare facilities, or other third-party payers.
Payment terms may vary depending on:
- Private pay arrangements
- Broker agreements
- Facility contracts
- Insurance arrangements
Outstanding balances may result in service suspension.
9. Insurance and Liability
Assured Safety Transportation LLC maintains required commercial insurance coverage in accordance with Virginia laws and regulations.
However, by using our services, clients acknowledge and agree that:
- Transportation involves inherent travel-related risks
- Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control
- We are not responsible for losses caused by weather, traffic, accidents, acts of nature, or third-party actions
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Assured Safety Transportation LLC shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Incidental damages
- Consequential damages
- Missed appointments caused by circumstances outside reasonable control
- Personal property left in vehicles
10. Personal Belongings
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.

- Lost items
- Stolen items
- Damaged belongings left in vehicles
Found items may be retained for a limited period before disposal.
